Examination blues - How to counter them

Challenge to prove your credentials always generate certain degree of apprehension, self doubt and stress in all but a few people. This is a reaction meant to alert you to bring out best in you and therefore it is a beneficial reaction . However when the level of anxiety and stress exceed one's ability to cope with it , it becomes a major problem and instead of bringing the best out it impairs one's performance. Unfortunately it is not always possible to tell when the limit is crossed and how to build your defences to prevent that. A person faced with challenging circumstances will work increasingly harder to overcome the adversity till he succumbs, sometimes abruptly.
